  I stopped for propane for my camper. Since it has a permanant propane tank i always have to pay by the gallon. When the frindly Ace man came out to fill my tank i asked him how much was it per gallon. He said he didn't know. I told him at the Ace i normally buy it it is a little under $3.00 a gallon (also in Fl.) and the most i ever paid was $5.00 a gallon in Valdez Alaska. Thinking it would be around $3.00 per gallon i told him to fill it up. It took 10 gallons. I went inside and the friendly lady at the register charged me $4.60 per gallon. I paid and left. The staff is very nice and friendly but the owner is definately way overcharging for propane. I should have went inside and confirmed the price, but i never suspected "Alaska" prices in North Florida. Actions like this is why people go to big box stores.
